Dear Dan, Greg, Sue & Hank & families,

I am thinking of you in this time of loss. When we were together at Alta Rishel's memorial , I little dreamed that Tena was ill. She made Alta's service a true celebration of her life, as well as a lovely family gathering..

I remember becoming acquainted with Tena as a person in her own right in the mid-70s. She stepped out of the shadows as Flossy & Henry's dgt, Greg & Dan's little sister & the Urban's neighbor trick-or-treating at our door & became a vibrant personality at St. John Studio Theater. The play was "The Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry & Fred Gearhart was the director. Oh, those were fun times! And it was such a joy to know her with her quirky personality.

As she matured into an actress , a choreographer & a director in her own right, it was my pleasure to attend her productions as a theater patron. Thank you for sharing her with us.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Jeanne Urban

At one point Tena felt like a sister to me. We drifted apart over the years but she always had a piece of my heart. So many memories of times we shared. The world has lost a shining star, far too soon.
